Which payment methods are most popular in online stores?

The most popular payment methods include:

  • Pay-by-Link – automatic payments for the largest banks such as iPKO, Pekao24, mTransfer etc.
  • Card payments, including: VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard, and Maestro
  • BLIK – an increasingly popular form of payment using the bank's mobile application

and:

  • Fast transfers – quick payments from banks that do not support Pay-by-Link
  • 1-click card or BLIK payments The customer saves their card details once and then uses them to pay with “one click” for subsequent purchases

The integration of the payment system for the online store is lighting fast.

There are two ways to process payments in the store:

  1. URL: the Blue Media online payment system opens in a new Blue Media Online Payments browser tab through a specially constructed URL.
  2. “In the background”: the customer is redirected to their bank’s website (in case of card payments, to a dedicated Blue Media page or iFrame).
