The “1 złoty per kilometer” program (Złotówka za kilometr), in which the employees of the Sopot-based company, Blue Media, receive an incentive for commuting to work on bike, was awarded in the “Socially Responsible Company” (Firma zaangażowana społecznie) competition organized by the Development Initiation Forum (Forum Inicjowania Rozwoju).

The purpose of the Socially Responsible Company competition is to choose and promote the most interesting and best implemented practices of corporate social responsibility (CSR) realized in the area of social engagement by micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises from the Pomeranian Voivodeship. The honorable patron of the Competition is the President of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, Mieczysław Struk, and the winners are chosen by the competition’s Award Committee.

In this year’s competition, the “1 złoty per kilometer” (Złotówka za kilometr) program introduced by Blue Media won the second place.
